Welcome to Claire Craves! I’m so happy you found your way to my site. I’m a full-time working mom/wife in Austin, Texas and also a lover of food! In my pre-mom life I used to plan my recipes a week ahead and take an hour just prepping and cooking our meals each weeknight and I loved it. I’ve always found cooking to be really relaxing and a great way to wind down from the day.  But, as some of you know, pretty much everything changes once you have a kid! I found that I couldn’t keep up with cooking these elaborate meals during the week because there just isn’t enough time in the day so I had to adjust. 

I hope to be a resource of simple, family/kid-friendly recipes and restaurant recommendations. My goals is to share fast, healthy-ish recipes that your whole family can enjoy. Right now, my son is 6-12 months and we are introducing a lot of foods using some BLW techniques so I’ll show both the adult and kid recipe (no salt, things cut into sticks, etc.) so you can see how I adapt our meals.
